Depending on what the user provides or links voluntarily, BlueBird VA may process the following categories:

• Name and surname.
• Email address.
• Callsign or internal identifier assigned by the VA.
• IVAO VID.
• Public information associated with the IVAO profile.
• IVAO rank or rating.
• Flight hours and activity.
• Reported flights or PIREPs.
• Registered airports, routes, aircraft and schedules.
• Data related to tours, events, awards and statistics.
• Avatar or profile picture when voluntarily uploaded by the user.
• SimBrief identifier when the user chooses to link it.
• Messages or requests sent through forms or email.
• Data required to use ACARS or other tools linked to the VA.
• Basic technical session and access logs generated by the system to operate correctly.

No dedicated long-term IP logging system for pilot registration was confirmed in the reviewed code beyond the normal web session operation. If additional persistent IP or access logging is enabled, this policy should be updated.

• Create and manage pilot accounts.
• Validate identity or IVAO membership where necessary.
• Register and validate flights.
• Manage ranks, hours, statistics, tours and recognitions.
• Prevent duplicate accounts, fraud or flight manipulation.
• Maintain platform security.
• Provide technical and administrative support.
• Send communications related to the operation of the VA.
• Organize events and activities.
• Manage participation in Discord where needed for community operations.
• Apply and enforce the internal rules.

Processing may rely, as applicable, on the user consent given during registration and when using certain features, on the voluntary participation relationship requested by the pilot, on BlueBird VA legitimate interest in protecting the platform and maintaining reliable statistics, and on compliance with legal obligations where applicable.

• From the user directly.
• From public IVAO profile information or authorized IVAO services.
• From flights submitted through ACARS or forms.
• From integrations authorized by the pilot, such as SimBrief.
• From technical records generated while using the platform.

Data may be processed by technical providers required for the platform to operate, such as hosting, email, database, ACARS, Discord when the user participates in that community, and other external services voluntarily linked by the pilot. BlueBird VA does not sell personal data.

Some external services used by the community, such as Discord, IVAO, SimBrief or certain infrastructure and email providers, may process information outside the European Economic Area under their own legal mechanisms and privacy policies. BlueBird VA does not make additional unverified claims about safeguards.

• While the account remains active.
• While the data is needed to manage the pilot participation.
• After account closure, personal data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period.
• Flight statistics may be retained in anonymized or de-linked form where needed for the historical continuity of the VA.
• Data subject to legal obligations may be retained for the required period.

The historical reference to a maximum 30-day deletion window should only be treated as final once the current technical operations are verified to support it consistently.

Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, portability where applicable and withdrawal of consent. They may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Requests may be sent to administracion@bluebirdva.com. BlueBird VA may request reasonable additional information to verify the requester identity.

A sufficiently clear technical and legal minimum registration age was not confirmed in the reviewed flow.

BlueBird VA applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect accounts, community information and platform access. However, absolute security against every possible incident or unauthorized access cannot be guaranteed.

The platform may automatically calculate ranks, statistics, awards or operational validations based on recorded activity, but it does not make automated decisions producing legal effects on users.

BlueBird VA may update this policy when needed due to technical, organizational or legal changes. The current version will always be the one published on this page, together with its last updated date.
